Talk show queen joins forces with reality diva

Posted On » July 11 - 17, 2012 (Volume:10 / Issue 80)

Oprah Winfrey is finally back on TV screens worldwide and will appear on a forthcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

The beloved talk show host gave fans a little taste of her latest television venture, Oprah’s Next Chapter, when she sat down for a two-part interview with the Kardashians. However, she is now prompting to drop jaws when she revealed that she will be joining forces with the clan.

The queen of talk and the Kardashians may not have anything in common but during Winfrey’s interview shoot, she enjoyed her time so much that she agreed to appear on their highly-rated reality TV show.

According to Us Weekly, apparently it was Khloe’s sense of humour that knocked Oprah off her feet and made her laugh throughout the show.

“She and Khloe especially hit it off. Khloe had her laughing,” a source told US Weekly. “It meant so much because she loves Oprah!”

The media mogul may be attempting to appeal to a younger demographic, but she explained how after meeting the family, she fell in love and respected them.

During her interview, she made it clear how impressed she was with Kim’s strength after the public scrutiny of her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.

“I’ve obviously made plenty of mistakes in my lifetime, but I’m not the type to sit and beat myself up over it,” Kim said. “A real lesson was learned, I’m so okay with having experienced that.”

Winfrey, 58, replied: “That is so perfect I could weep.”

Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs Monday to Thursdays on E! Entertainment.
